But when the OEM lamp prices start climbing, it feels like you’re being penalized just for keeping the line moving. You need a replacement that actually works—something that hits the same wattage and spectral output so your wall thickness stays consistent, but without the eye-watering price tag.
The nitty-gritty of high-density heat
Here’s the thing about these machines: they’re picky. They rely on shortwave infrared to blast through that PET material fast. If a lamp is off by even a few millimeters, or if the voltage is slightly wonky, you’ll start seeing “hot spots.” Not a good look.
